It is happening to me all the time... and whenever it does I get thrown back at my last checkpoint with all the mobs respawned. As I'm still learning my way through the dungeons (I'm in the Cathedral now) it's doubly irritating as I no sooner get myself back on the right track than I'm d/c'd again.
It's a fun little game, but not so much that I'll keep playing it if it keeps doing this, sheesh!
irritatedYou know what bugs me? When people leave reviews to Xbox 360s on gaming sites saying things like: "Don't buy this system because it will break and will cost you a lot of money and hassle sending it to Microsoft to get it fixed. Seriously, just buy a PS3."
I assumed that it was well-known how unreliable Microsoft Xboxes are even though they're really popular. I remember Steve Jobs saying something about how Microsoft isn't for their customers; They just want to find ways of making money.
If you compare Xbox to PS3 and even Apple products, you will find that the others are more reliable. Playing online on a Playstation is free... But not on Xbox. Playstations are known to last longer and replacing them after two years usually doesn't happen... But it does with Xbox. I've read horror stories about people who've bought a 360, it broke after a week, got another one, that one broke, sent that one in to get repaired only to have that one break a month later. I mean, what's up with that?
After all these setbacks I'd heard, how could I still want to get an Xbox so bad? At first my excuse was: "Well, maybe the people working for Microsoft are just slow and not as efficient at putting out gaming systems that work pretty well. Maybe their system improving takes so long because they spend so much time making sure the system works perfectly. That has to be a valid excuse, right?" Wrong.
Then what about Apple, huh? What makes Apple so much different from Microsoft? Why are Apple products so amazing, last so much longer and it barely has any faults? That's simple.
Apple is for the people. Microsoft is for themselves.
Don't get me wrong, I love Xbox. I'm willing to spend extra money on the faults and have actually prepared myself because I figure something might go wrong right after buying one. But even so, it sucks that buying one is such a gamble. :/ Especially after wanting one so bad and saving up for three/four years to get one...
............
What's your stance on these matters? I'd like to hear your opinion.
(Also, I hope posts like these are allowed. I don't mean to offend anyone. This is just me trying to get some feedback on something that I'm vehement about....)
annoyedSo here I am, in a 'Flat World' with a huuuuuuuuge cliff-side that goes on for miles. The ground acts as if I'm around 5 blocks from the bottom of the world (the particles float in the air) but I'm not exactly sure how this happened. When I looked it up, it appeared to be a glitch in the 12w05b version of the game (Whatever the hell 12w05b is. Does it mean it's version 1.2.5?) and it happens when you go off the map. The rest of the world tries to spawn like it would in a normal game, or whatever.
Unfortunately, when I was modding I didn't have a backup copy handy for when I made mistakes, so when I tried to get my thing back after doing something stupid it completely died. So this world is gone. D:
I've been trying to re-create it, but I'm not sure how. Anyone have any ideas for me? I'd like to get this cool glitch back

confusedWhat I really want is a co-op campaign mode and/or a cooperative multi-player mode where teammates take on the AI rather than other players. Preferably something not super difficult. I find ME3's multiplayer fairly easy and have managed to complete several gold matches, but my scores are always fourth. That should give you an idea of my skills. ;)
I'll tell you what I have right now and then maybe you can make some other suggestions?
I just got my copy of Resident Evil 5 back from my niece so I'm going to try co-op on that. I played through the single player campaign a couple of times on my own so I figure I should be good enough to play with someone else *g*
I have Borderlands and tried a co-op game yesterday, but to be honest, I just cannot get into that game. I don't know what it is about it, but I'm not digging it. And the people on co-op weren't talkative and were running all over the map so I might as well have been playing it alone.
I know that Saints Row has online co-op and when my niece gets back from school, I will be borrowing her copy to try that.
I hear that Battlefield 3 has good co-op in both the multiplayer and the campaign mode. What do you all think? Is it worth picking up? Is the combat super difficult?
Any other suggestions?
Also, if anyone wants to co-op RE5 or Saints Row 3, my gamertag is Jennconn on XBox Live. I'm willing to try Borderlands again too if anyone likes to play. I'm sure it is more fun with people who actually communicate!
What do you guys think about this? I personally love the series and would enjoy something new and different to compete with Rift and WoW.
As I'm going back to civilization in a couple of weeks I was just wondering if you gals had any suggestions on what I could get for those systems.
Especially PSP because I've only got a few games for it and I'd like to convince myself that buying it was not a waste of money.
Thanks mucho ladies!
P.S. Extrodinarily good suggestions will entail me owing said suggestor a life-debt. Ever been on the recieving end of a life-debt. It's pretty schweet.
My husband was supposed to play with me, but he lost interest :C
